Wacky as it seems, we're saving money this way. Carpet installers will charge less to move the stuff around when they install than we would've paid to keep everything in storage.
Here's our fabulous packing job we did back in Portland (thanks to Lowell and Judy!).
Lesson to be learned for future storage users... no matter how heavy, don't put the plastic tubs on the bottom if they're to be stored for months in triple-digit heat...
Bend-buckle-crack!Muchas muchas gracias to amigos Omar and Jim for making the unloading a speedy process! Jim gave his sweat, Omar gave his blood, w/ a nice little gash (though no one gave his tears).
And here's the house, though now that I see it, this is such a distant, nondescript picture. Sorry.
Okay, back to work on the house. GJ (Grandma Judy) and niece Taylor have come out this week to help unpack and clean! :)
