Bye Bye, Broviac!

Last week Ori had his broviac removed.  It was a quick (5 minutes!) surgery, and everything went well.  Ori was back home that afternoon feeling just fine.

We are all so excited that the broviac is gone!  It required daily and weekly maintenance, not to mention I had to cover it with plastic wrap and tape every night before he could take a shower.  Oh to have the plastic wrap back in the kitchen instead of in the bathroom!

Ori continues to make great progress.  We are hoping that he'll be done with the immunosuppressant medication in a few weeks.  Then he'll be able to begin seeing friends again and get out into the world.  He's looking forward to that.
