After an 8-hour experience at Ori's first clinic visit last week, this time it was a short 90 minute appointment.
He wasn't scheduled for a spinal tap (and won't be for another two weeks), didn't need a bone marrow aspirate because those tests last week came back with such great results. And the best part, his blood test results at this visit showed that he didn't need a blood transfusion.
He's keeping the color in his face and lips quite well, unlike last week when he'd returned to a pale complexion by the time we went to that first appointment. So he's doing well creating his own red blood cells at this point (though he could still need a transfusion from time to time).
His short visit was limited to that blood test and the weekly chemotherapy treatment with the drug Vincristine, and he was happily on his way home!
It's nice to have such positive news to share about his progress. :)

And it's VERY nice to read such great news too! Hugs to all of you. :)
We are so thankful that your little Ori is responding so well. Know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers daily. We wish him a very speedy cure. Much love from MO, Matt, Kasey, Jordan & Preston
It is good to see him smiling! I am glad this was easier, and I hope that becomes the norm -- thinking of you.
