Test results came back to officially confirm what his Dr. had already suspected: Ori is Leukemia free!
Now the treatment process focuses on keeping the cancer at bay and getting his body strong enough to continue that effort once the chemo stops. That's still three years away.
So even though he's officially in remission, there remains a chance that his body could relapse and the Leukemia could resurface.
However, his body has responded so well to treatment that his Dr. has placed his survival rate above that of the standard 85% ceiling that children diagnosed with A.L.L. are initially given.
Thank you, again, to everyone sharing their support through posts, emails, cards, gifts, thoughts and prayers! All of those have been extremely helpful and appreciated as we continue to make our way through this experience.
