Station 9

Last month when Ori's friends at Station 9 heard that he had to stay home all month, they wanted to bring the  fire station to him.  So one afternoon our friends Firefighter Greg and Firefighter Art brought the ladder truck and the rest of the ladder crew to our house to visit Ori.  Boy was that something!

The truck pulled up right in front of our house and the firefighters came in for a visit.  It was so wonderful!

Our friends at Station 9 have done some amazing things for Ori.  Not only did many of them help build Ori's firehouse, but most of them also helped move it to our new house.

They have also invited us to their firehouse several times and they have visited Ori often during his hospital stays.

Last fall they arranged for Ori to attend Family Night at the Phoenix Fire Training Center.  We got to see the newly trained cadets show off their firefighting skills during their graduation ceremony.  It was a night full of excitement for the boys!  They saw cars being cut up, fires being put out and fire engines racing to the scene.  Ori also got to ride with some of the cadets on a pretend call during the ceremony.

What a beautiful sight seeing Ori surrounded by Phoenix Fire Fighters.

Of course the boys wore their gear!

They just loved watching all the action!

Ori wore the headphones during the ride and told the firefighters when to get out and get to the roof to cut it open.

There they go!

One of my favorite photos from the night.  We were there for 4 hours and they loved every minute of it!

I know I have said it before, but the Phoenix Fire Fighters are amazing!  They have given so much to our family.
