We also got a call today from Ori's oncologist (a super friendly doctor who likes to be called Dana or Dr. Dana) with word that his chromosomes tested well, showing that they're more likely to respond positively to treatment.
And yesterday's bone marrow aspirate showed results that mean he won't need another needle in his hip at next week's visit (making for a hopefully shorter visit).
Finally, a few pics of the little guy with some new friends he's made during the past week and a half...

"Sierra" is the pet therapy dog that stopped by to visit him in his hospital bed last week. Ori's trepidation is pretty evident in his face. It's kind of a "Uh, there's a dog on my bed, and he's much bigger than Rusty" look. (Rusty is Grandma Judy and Grandpa Lowell's little Terrier.)
And "Bette" is the pet therapy dog that happened through the clinic yesterday as we waited for the bag of platelets to arrive. She left a few extra gifts behind: some stickers and some shed hairs - one you can't get enough of and the other you can't seem to get rid of. :)

It is so good to see all of your faces! And always wonderful to hear good news.
Ohhh, Ori is such a little love! What a trooper!
