Harquahala

Before Ori was admitted to the hospital, I received a phone call from Firefighter James from the Harquahala Fire District.  It's a fire district about an hour west of us.  James wanted to know when he and some fellow firefighters could visit Ori.

They had heard Ori's story and wanted to do something special for him.  We arranged for them to visit Ori one afternoon at the hospital, and boy was it special!  They brought a few surprises...

They made Ori his own Harquahala Fire District shirt, complete with his name.  They also had his name sewn into the back of his hat.
They brought Ori a framed picture of them with their Engine 371.

They also made Ori an honorary Harquahala firefighter and gave him an official certificate.

Then they stayed and played for awhile.  And I mean they played!  These guys were on the floor playing lego firefighters with Ori, making calls and getting to the emergency.  They were just awesome!

We will definitely be making the drive out to visit our new friends at their fire station.

Thanks Harquahala firefighters!
