14 Days and Counting

It's been two weeks since Ori was admitted to the hospital and things are going very well.  We are so proud of both of our boys!

Ori has received two bags of platelets and one blood transfusion.  He will most likely receive more blood tomorrow.  He has had a few low grade fevers, but otherwise he is in good health and feeling well.

A few friends have stopped by to put a smile on Ori's face.

And even a visit from Miss Arizona!  Ori insisted that she put on a fire helmet for the photo.  

Andon has been coming to play every afternoon.  He has been so great with all of these changes!

We are all hanging in there, trying to stay positive, and trying to get as much sleep as we can.  Ori hasn't complained once about being in the hospital or having to stay in his room.  He even told me today that he loves being at the hospital.  My goodness!

The average time for this hospital stay is 25 days.  We're halfway there!  Hopefully Ori's spirits will remain high and Andon's flexibility and patience will remain strong.  

Thanks to all of you who have sent gifts to our family.  The presents for Ori have been a fantastic distraction for both boys.
