A Trip Across the USA

We've settled into our hospital room and have started our trip around the USA.  Ori couldn't wait to begin looking at the photos of fire stations, firefighters and fire trucks that so many friends, family members and other firefighters across the country have sent to us.

We started with Delaware, with a photo from the mom of my high school friend, Erin.  The photo put a huge smile on Ori's face, as it showed the firefighters holding a sign that said "Get well Ori!"

Thanks to everyone who have sent photos to us!  These photos will bring such joy to Ori during this long hospital stay.

Ori has been able to leave the room to walk around the floor and visit an isolation playroom.  He's really enjoyed being out of the room, even though he can't go far.

He and Andon have found all kinds of ways to have fun!

Now we settle into our room for the next few weeks while we wait for Ori's body to recover from the intensive chemotherapy he's received.  Ori won't be able to leave the room until his ANC reaches the magic number of 250.  I'm sure the boys will come up with all sorts of ways to have fun!
