A few weeks ago Ori began the third of five cycles of chemotherapy. He is halfway done and has been doing great! With the exception of feeling tired and yucky for 5 days while he is on the steroid, he has been full of energy and enjoying each day.
We have been getting out and about during the weeks that he can. He has had so much fun just going to the grocery store, but we've managed to do more than that. We've been to some fire stations, the zoo, the park, and we even got to ride on a firetruck in the St. Patrick's Day Parade. It has been wonderful!
The boys with a tortoise.
Wearing our green for the parade!
We plan on swimming and going on a little trip up north this summer. I think the boys are equally excited about both the swimming and the trip!
Ori is also excited to visit the hospital this summer to say hello to his friends there. We decided to visit around his birthday in July so that he could take them a very special donation; a cozy coupe firetruck with his name on it.
