Last Saturday the AZ Diamondbacks paid tribute to Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month. They donated $100,000 to the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Phoenix Children's Hospital, and they also invited several patients to join them on the field.
Ori was one of the invited patients.
Ori received a gold jersey and accompanied 2nd baseman, Chris Owings, to second base at the start of the game. It was an amazing experience that brought all of us to tears.
What a day at the ballpark!
