No news is good news
Ori is doing very well since coming home from the hospital. He has been to the clinic twice for routine check ups, and everything is looking good. It's as if he never had the treatment! Even some of the doctors and nurses are surprised at how well he feels.
But that's Ori! He is really an upbeat, positive kid, and that is so much a part of why he does so well. He doesn't let things get him down. Once he feels better, he's off and running! In fact he has had so much energy that we have played outside every day, even taking long walks and a few trips to the park. It is awesome!
It's a bit hard to see him feeling so well knowing that in a few weeks we will be knocking him down again with the bone marrow transplant. A small part of us wants to just continue down the unknown path of CAR-t to see where it will lead, but ultimately we know that there are just too many unknowns at this point. The results are unclear. And with transplant he has a very good chance of being cured. We just can't ignore that reality.
So we'll enjoy all of these awesome days with an energetic and happy Ori. We'll deal with the rough days ahead when they are here.

Very good to hear he is doing so well. He is quite a special kid. I was always amazed at how happy he always seemed when we saw him in the hospital. Continue to enjoy your time at home.
