End of a Long Week

We try not to wish away time.  We do our best to enjoy each moment and be here, today with the boys.  We know what a gift time is.  But this past week is one that we are glad is over.

Wednesday night Ori took the last dose of the steroid that he has taken for a week.  It really hit him hard, making him tired, feeling cranky, overwhelmingly hungry, uncomfortable and achy.

And Thursday night he was in so much pain that he couldn't even walk.  The steroid is just miserable!

He was still trying to be his sweet self, apologizing when he was cranky, asking to snuggle, giving me kisses for being the best mommy in the world.  It took a lot of energy on my part, especially while trying to be a mom to Andon at the same time.

Luckily GJ was able to come over and help.  And Ori felt well enough to still go to dinner at Papa and GJ's house one night.  Even still, we are all looking forward to a restful weekend with Ori feeling like himself and things getting back to normal.
