No Hospital This Week!
We are happy to be at home tonight instead of at the hospital. Ori's ANC was 748. It needed to be at 750 for us to be admitted. His doctor asked if we wanted to take a second blood draw for her to look at under the microscope so that she could count the white blood cells and recalculate the ANC if needed. I didn't hesitate at all to say no thanks!
I was happy to walk out of the clinic and drive home. Happy to have a whole week with Ori feeling so good! Ori can see friends, visit a fire station...he is so excited! And delaying the hospital stay a week means fewer stays without Andon being able to visit. And that made Ori the happiest of all.
When we were packing for the hospital last night Ori decided that since he was going to see me and Justin during the hospital stay, he didn't need to take a picture of the whole family to have beside his bed. He instead wanted to take a picture of himself and Andon. He chose one of the two of them with arms wrapped around each other. And he even cried when he said goodbye to Andon this morning. Andon gave him a big hug and a kiss and told him he loved him.
We couldn't ask for more loving brothers.
