Laying Low Until Christmas

Ori had his weekly appointment today.  His ANC is very low, just 80.  It needs to be at 750 or above for us to begin the next phase of chemotherapy treatments, so we will try again next week.

With such a low ANC, we plan to stay home.  Hopefully we can keep Ori healthy until Christmas.  Any fever means a trip to the ER and possible admission to the hospital.  Obviously we don't want to be in the hospital for Christmas, but we've talked about the possibility just in case.  You just never know what will happen with a child with a low immune system.

So how do we spend our days?  Well, the boys are always creating around here.  Today it is...

A homemade gas station for the trucks...

An unusual nativity scene...

Playing Santa Claus...

And just loving on each other.

Ori and Andon love being at home.  They are never at a loss for something to do, that's for sure!
