It's been a week since Ori's transplant, and he is doing well considering everything that is going on in his body. He is feeling "normal" for this time, experiencing mucousitis, getting blood transfusions, and having fevers, but he is dealing with it all so well. Everyday he takes all of his medication and does everything we ask in order to keep himself clean and healthy. He is such a wonderful boy!
Hopefully the new cells will begin to grow within the next week or more. Once that happens, his body will begin to heal itself and he will start to feel like himself again.
For now we are just taking each day as it comes, enjoying the moments when Ori feels good.
