For the past three days, Ori has had to take a shower every 6 hours. That's a shower at 6am, one at noon, one at 6pm, and one at midnight. Then literally rinse and repeat! He was taking a chemo that can burn the skin as it is sweated out, so the whole body has to be washed frequently so that any residue is rinsed away. It was a tiring process, but once again Ori did it all without complaint. He is such a superstar!
He is feeling tired today (we are too after three nights of being up at midnight), but he is still in good spirits. Tomorrow he is given ATG, the medicine that helps to prevent host versus graft disease. It can be a hard medicine for the body to tolerate, so we will see how Ori does.
