We are so proud of Ori! He is done with radiation treatment and he did an amazing job! For three days we traveled by ambulance to the Mayo clinic twice a day for treatments. Ori had to sit completely still for 40 minutes twice a day for the treatments, something that I am sure is challenging for many adults. I teared up a bit when it was all done. I was so inspired by our boy!
So far Ori is still feeling good, but we aren't sure how long that will last. He starts chemo today, and he will receive a dose for the next 4 days. It's expected that he will feel pretty tired and yucky by Wednesday. We'll see. He surprises us all the time.
Of course Ori loved all of the rides in the ambulances. They even turned the lights and sirens on to celebrate his last radiation treatment. He was excited!
Andon is doing well, spending time between home and the hospital. He's enjoying lots of time with GJ and Papa. We are so grateful to have them nearby.
Ori outside the ambulance. We had fun guessing each time what color it would be.
Ori and Handy Manny ringing the bell to signal that they were both done with radiation. Handy Manny was in the room with Ori everyday for treatment, too.
