What a wonderful week! It was so great to see Ori feeling happy and well all week long!
We had fun seeing some friends to swim and play, and of course we visited a few fire stations, too. First it was off to Station 9.
Ori helped make sure the hose was working.
Then he used the controls to set down the outriggers on the ladder truck.
Next it was time for a ride up the ladder!
Ori and Andon both were excited to see the hospital from up so high!
Finally we went for a ride on Engine 9 with lights flashing, siren blaring and Ori in charge of the horn.

On Wednesday we went to visit Station 12, Papa and G.J.'s fire station.
Ori saw some of his firefighter friends, including Captain Ed.
Firefighter Daniel, Captain Aaron and Captain Ed
presented Ori with his own official firefighter helmet.
A local TV station came to capture the moment.
The helmet has his own special number, 7206, and his name, O. Wright. If you hadn't figured it out already, the number is his birthday. It is such a meaningful gift, and of course it's with Ori now as he goes to the hospital for his first of many scheduled hospital stays.
